A stunning clear summer night sky from Herveys Range lookout near Townsville. With the Milky Way to the right of the image and the Large Magellanic Cloud to the far right. The Southern Cross is hiding on its side amongst the stars at the base of the Milky Way, near to the dark nebula, Coalsack. The moon's orange glow is central on the horizon and the glow from Townsville's city lights are to the left.
