Fate of a Mangrove

Fate of a Mangrove

Twisted, broken and misplaced yet supporting new growth- a testament to endurance.

As fate would have it this “driftwood” was actually a lone mangrove rooted into the sand, so it didn’t wash away with the high tide. For me that meant a second chance to capture its existence.
Whilst waiting for my exposure I was wondering what it’s fate will be from here.

Taken at high tide at Pallarenda, Townsville with a 10 stop ND and 3 stop soft grad.
